Police Activity - 5th Ave. and St. Marks

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the deal was on Sunday night at around 9:00 on 5th Ave. between St. Mark's and Bergen. We were coming home from a weekend road trip and only passed through the intersection quickly, but there were a bunch of police cars and lots of onlookers. There was also a guy about a block away who just kept looking that way and yelling, "What the F*** is going on?"

It might not have been anything but it seemed kinda crazy.[/u]
