My adorable orange long-hair cat must have run out my door. He is kind of shy.

The fido website has good advice on finding a lost pet. Just go down to the "Important lost dog tips" section, and this advice is pretty much the same for cats. Posters, posters, posters.

Definitely e-mail Fido this information. They send out mass e-mails as well as post it to their Facebook page. I am not too far from you and will keep and eye out for you little guy. I am sure he will be home soon. I have seen lots of posts here where someone's cat was found either in the building they live in or one close by.

Thank you all for your comments. My cat wandered home late last night like nothing happened. Whewwww! He is grounded for a month but safe and sound.
