Letter Grades

I'm happy to notice that most places in the area got an A letter grade upon the health inspectors' visit... just got coffee and a wonderful scone this morning at Bittersweet and again happy they are among the other A's in Fort Greene along with Madiba and Kif, that's 3 A's on 2 blocks...
The grades pending apparently mean that restaurants have too many violations to get an A right away, so they are given a few weeks to clean up their act before a second inspection that will decide their final letter for a whole year.
Interesting new system... i hope more customers learn about it.
Also bear in mind that apparently anything that gets an A, B or C passes the inspection so they are relatively safe to eat at, even a C.
Off course an A is better, cleaner, more thorough in terms of health principles, but it doesn't mean i will never go to a B place... C... i'm not so sure...

I have seen a lot of As too. I was quite happy about that.

I am gross so I'd eat just about anywhere though. :)
