Police Pod: Gone

As of yesterday I noticed the Pod was gone, though the fencing that narrowns Franklin to one lane was still up.

(bumped since it was trapped in moderation queue and after release now appears on 2nd page of latest posts)

I hope the local neighbohood used this break in street dealing to talk to the owners of the corner bodegas, and offered their support in keeping the dealers at bay in preparation for Skywatch's removal.

....or else the block may have to go thru this cycle again.

break ---> drug dealing ----> drug involved shooting ----> skywatch ---->

(and repeat)

Um, its still there as of this afternoon.

....if folks haven't already, they should talk to those corner bodegas:

"If you decide to not tolerate the guys dealing drugs, we will support you by buying our groceries from you. If you decide to turn a blind eye to the dealing, or not cooperate with the police, you are on your own ...and will lose out to the stores that meet our needs."

i noticed it was gone too. popped into the loosie bodega there and the guy behind the counter told me it was gone for good. "welcome to the hood" he said quite jovially... low and behold it had returned by the evening.
