How Come

How come you can't get out of "quotes" to add some incredibly witty witticism at the end of your post? You can't seem to scroll down, hit return to start lecturing some moron's lame comment. The opportunities I've missed.

Maybe you can do it if you are quoting a previous post but it doesn't seem to work if you're embellishing and legitimizing your response with cuts and pastes quotes.

I think you are typing into the blue bordered section, quotes work fine for me... DH, maybe the quote boxes need to be more defined (a deeper shade of gray? or change the background color...?)

Ok, this is what happens. The above text was selected and "quoted", now however I am unable to "return" or put the cursor with the mouse below or above (outside of) the quote so all further typing is part of the "quote".

The only fix is to keep text above and below the text you are going to designate as "quoted". Then you can type outside of the quote.

Hey modsquad2.0 - See if this works when you quote someone:

Press the down arrow key a few times and see if it brings you down into the area below the blue quote box.

Actually, you can. Just hit enter a few times in the post box *then* click the QUOTE link in the post.
