I saw this (In the Footprint) and thought it was fantastic - brilliantly staged/directed/acted, did an amazing job getting into the complexities of the story without ceasing to be really entertaining and witty, and getting one's blood boiling too. Really recommend it (I have no connection to the production!) It's at the Irondale Center in Ft Greene. Has anyone else seen it? Opinions? Interested to hear what people think from the neighborhood (or wherever).

yes, i've seen it and thought it was excellent. the show has received rave reviews everywhere -- except by noted rupert murdoch employee gurst kuntzmann in the hyperprestigious brooklyn free shopping paper.

excellent characterizations of, quotes from many of the key players involved in the conflict, similar to an anna deveare smith production, i thought.

Not only did I not know about this show, I'd never heard of the theater. Just got tickets for Monday night. Thanks for the heads up!
