Sapid

Sapid is definitely the best Indian food I've had in Brooklyn, and perhaps some of the tastiest I've had in NYC. I am so stoked that they are just a couple blocks from me. When I first rode by the unassuming Washington storefront one day earlier this year, they hadn't yet opened. It really didn't look like much and I feared it would be just another bland, "alright" Indian joint. I finally got to try them tonight and was totally floored. It doesn't take much to turn mediocre Indian into amazing Indian, yet so many places fall short. Though I have to order a few more times for confirmation, I'm hopeful that this will be my new go-to from now on.
