Really bummed about that. I liked them a lot. I think the branding they had was super cute, too. Hope another place like this comes to the area, but it doesnt seem like bakeries have it easy.

Totally agree - great place in rather a pioneering location for the sort of business they are, sorry to hear they're closing the storefront. I can't imagine how hard it must be to make a tiny, quality bakery work.

Wish they'd started at the corner of Union and 4th Ave instead of the mediocre "Brownstone" bagel place...we have the market for Little Buddy further north!

I am sorry to hear this news. I do wish they opened

earlier and closed later. There were a few occasions

where I needed to get goodies to go and they were not

open early enough for me to shop them.

Quality tasty stuff. A sure loss for this area.

Agree that their hours were on the not-very-convenient side. Too bad they couldn't have snagged the King of Cupcakes or Park Slope Eatery space. Those places are doomed and Little Buddy could have made a decent go of it there.

I haven't been, but I'm told Boulangerie Lopez down another block or so is good. Owned by a family who's been in business in the area, mainly in an adjacent space, for a lot of years.
