Anyone know a good bed bug remover in BoCoCa (I hate that name, sorry)

Thanks in advance for any good ones. Do any of 'em come over and inspect BEFORE you take the plunge for the dog, or is that the only way?

hire the dogs, but you can do the spraying yourself. before spraying, dry in high heat all your clothes and bag it etc... and nuke the joint. most guys aren't that effective. and cost way too much. i learn this the expensive way.

Thanks, Armchair, that's great advice. Do you know, do I have to spray inside my books? I have many thousands... :(

BB expert here. First wash and dry all your bed linens on high heat (dry for 60 mins) and remove all nearby clutter such as dirty laundry with same treatment. Do a self search on all seams of bed and bedframe using baby wipes. If you find live bugs, dead bugs or baby casings, kill them and ziplock bag them for exterminator. Vacuum all floorboards and floors, throwing away the bag when done. If you have a bagless vacuum, wash filter and canister with boiling water and spray with rubbing alcohol when done. Do NOT spray yourself. You may just chase them from place to place. If you continue to get bitten after the above, call a professional and do everything they say and pay them for at least two visits.

Only if you have an infestation will you need to deal with your books- often you can bag and heat them or freeze them. Hopefully you are catching it early enough. Good luck!

Sorry meant do not spray or bomb your apartment yourself. After you have done self help, THEN call professionals.

yeah do what scarlett said, but buy the chems yourself and spray :p, cost like like hundred bucks or so, one for instant kill and other for egg hatching. the two combo should do the job. in the mean while put that diatomaceous earth stuff around under wall or doors etc.. don't want them to be crawling around, around your bed legs etc...

the professionals will do the same thing. spray every two weeks from my memory.
