The incompetence just keeps coming. Sanitation Department workers have destroyed approximately 30 gravestones at a major Southern Brooklyn Jewish cemetery while attempting to clean up Bay Parkway. The kicker? Even after breaking the headstones, they continued to dump snow on them for several days. This same graveyard - Washington Cemetery - saw about 300 gravestones smashed less than a month ago by vandals in a presumed hate-crime.
