Looking for tips on how to keep the garbage we throw out off of the sidewalk once it has been rummaged through.

AMMONIA. Wait that only works with dogs. Well at least it'll keep them from peeing on potentially rereadable magazines. Maybe it works on the Identity Theft Bandit too. What about BioHazard stickers? Or "This Garbage Has Fresh Poo" signage?

One good thing about winter is that (what I call) GARBAGE JUICE freezes and it doesn't brew in the sun and stick on the bottom of my lightweight aerial assault boots to be tracked into my living room. I'll never get use to the aroma of Flatbush on trash day. Even worse, late at night when the trucks come, there is Garbage Juice everywhere. P.U.

 No, no, no. Its the other way around. You shouldn't use ammonia because it is in urine. Thus, they mistake it for urine and pee where you used it to clean.
I use vinegar instead. They hate how that smells.
