NEW! Hi. Is there an introduction thread I'm missing?
Hi neighbors,
I moved into a bldg on EP and Bedford about a month ago. Have a new job and have been busy busy busy so I'm still exploring. I love my new place and the neighborhood seems awesome, so far!
Hope everyone's having a great weekend.

dailyheightsConsider this your introduction thread. Welcome! What do you need to know about the area?
Oh, and whatever MHA says about your block: the opposite
Is true. -
scarlettUm hello! Are those alpacas in your avatar?
-
MODHa!! I thought of you instantly Scarlett when I saw the alpacas!
Welcome Alex!
-
nearnostrandOh, and whatever MHA says about your block: the opposite
Is true.
I hope you like it here! See you on the boards!

alexdeebeeOh man scarlett, I am unintentionally biting yr steez! I'm such a noob.
Mainly my topic of the moment is finding a good dog walker. I'm from D.C. originally and should be going down in the next couple weeks to pick up Aaliyah Tinydancer, my awesome pup.

Here she is in her Halloween costume.
Anyway, does anyone have any leads? -
scarlettSrsly! But unless you're a rageful pill popping drunk party girl, my steez is safe.
Plus my girl Whatchuwant lives close to you so she'll take you down if need be. (And she might have dog walking ideas)

mrs whynotWelcome to the neighborhood. As we (Whynot is my husband) live nearby, we will doubtlessly meet in the park soon. (See Whynot's avatar for our dog's photo.) We don't have a walker, but I'll ask around.
A couple of dog advice items. Off-leash hours 9pm to 9am, when the parks are open, is observed in both Mount Prospect Park and Prospect Park. Mount Prospect Park (between the museum and the library) has a very laid back dog scene in the mornings. You can get lots of advice about walkers there.

mrs whynotScarlett,
Alexdeebee has TWO alpacas! I think your avatar needs to have three now.
-
scarlettMrs. Whynot what are you doing on here? You know when you post Whynot posts a million percent more. Argh! And I will not get into competition over alpacas! But it may be time for a pic from this year's crop of chef named babies. Now get off and hide the computer from Whynot please!!!
-
mrs whynotScarlett,
Whynot posts a million percent more than anyone (perhaps except for Carnivore). New alpaca pics though would be great.
