Historic Sheepshead church is tearing down its iconic steeples

Sheepshead Bay's oldest standing church, the United Methodist Church at 3087 Ocean Avenue, is tearing down their iconic steeples after 142 years. The steeples will NOT be replaced, as the Korean congregation cannot afford construction, upkeep or repair.
