Why does the Tea Lounge suck ass?

Does anyone else think that all their drinks taste like the same watered down crap? Also, their couches are so worn down they hurt my ass, and they smell like butt-stink.

I once itched for 2-3 days after sitting in a chair on 7th Ave.

It's been ages since I went there, but it's near the front, with your back to the door and it's plaid. A hideous, old, ugly plaid. Maybe green/white?

Anybody?

butt stink is either from the babies whose diapers get changed there OR the numerous PS hipsters who park themselves for hours using free wifi and drinking the same cup of coffee for 8 hours.

I have a friend who somehow got food poisoning there without eating anything - we met up there, he hadn't eaten, and we each had a beverage. he had some chocolate non-coffee giant iced thingy. 5 hours later he was really hungry and ... very ill. gross.

I have only been there once, but I can tell you that both their bourbon AND their High Life taste totally delicious. Can't comment on much else, sorry.
