no parking m-f/anytime?

Anyone know what's up with the new no parking anytime m-f signs put up on Atlantic by washington and st james place/washington? They can't be seriously taking away more valuable parking space in the clinton hill area, can they????

If that's the area the City wants to revamp for pedestrian safety, you may have your answer. Otherwise, it's Bloomberg enforcing his "Verboten Das Autombile" policy. Probably bike lanes.

I'm pretty sure there is a large sewer project coming to that section of Washington in the near future. It is supposed to last months, hence they may have opt'd for permanent looking signs.

BoyGabriel, next they'll take away your sidewalks, or put in toll booths before you can access the sidewalks.
