What's up with Smolen?

I see the bar's windows have been plastered with newspaper. Anyone have a clue? Renovation or new place?

I know the building was sold and from what I understand the old owner of the building was also the owner of the bar. Not sure what the plans are for it.

The bar space was advertised recently on one of the real estate sites highlighting that the outdoor space could be converted to a patio or beer garden. It will be interesting to see if/how that goes over.
