Cageless and nice dog boarding?

Hi there! I am looking for a clean, nice and professional dog camp (cageless) for my Golden Retriever. He´s been to a couple of places but we were not satisfied at all... I don´t mind if it is not in the city, actually I´d rather find a place in the country side.

He is a good doggie, but very playful and active, so he really need to exercise...

Any suggestions?

Thanks a million in advance!!!! :-)

Three of my friends speak highly of Glencadia. Two of them have high energy dogs, and one has an anxious dog and all thought their dogs happy there. My guy prefers to be the only dog or else I would send him. I've also heard several acquaintances from off-leash rave about it and have heard no complaints.

If you had a bad experience there, I'd be interested to hear it so I can share with my friends.

There is Camp BowWow on Staten Island where a friend of mine works. Also farther away is Morris K9 College in Randolph, NJ, near Morristown, also highly recommended.

My dog walker, Joe, dog sits for my pup. He stays at my place while i'm gone and takes my dog to the park for lots of exercise. Not sure if that's an option for you, but it's around the same cost as boarding. Here's his info:
