    well, I appreciate that people post them since I prefer to eat/drink locally and I also am broke. But that said, maybe we could get a sticky-post somewhere where people update the deals when they're local/noteworthy? Like in Random/Lounge or something?

    I'd say the sticky post option is a good idea only if it is locked and others can't comment in it. Otherwise it just becomes one long epic thread that someone will derail and then there'd always be new posts and no way to quickly tell that there's a new deal and not just a new funny (or not) comment.

    I kind of like the separate threads for the deals; I mostly use RSS to discover new threads here so it is nice to quickly see in my reader what is up.
