What the hell is all that drilling?

It's 8:30PM and I'm hearing a lot of construction noise coming from the general direction of the AY site. What is going on?

I think they are building an arena for the Nets.

Ratner's quonset hut is rising from the ashes.

Pretty sure it was a con ed emergency crew repairing a steam pipe or something on St marks. It was annoying but they wrapped it up by like 9:30

It was actually work being done in the schoolyard at PS 9. I walked over to see.

They were also drilling outside of Dean Street.

Get used to it. Con Ed just closed down a parking lot for the 24/7 shift employees. More complaints for management to deal with equals more petty satisfaction on the part of those who feel wronged.
