A 24-year-old man was charged with killing an acquaintance in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.

Marell Walker allegedly shot Kwasiada Creveille, 24, in the chest Thursday at 11:33 p.m. on Gates Avenue, near Nostrand Avenue. Creveille later died at Woodhull Hospital.

Walker, who had prior busts for drugs, burglary, and robbery, was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

Cops said the two knew each other, but said it was unclear what triggered the shooting.

Earlier in the evening, a 27-year-old woman was shot in the leg at nearby Nostrand and Monroe avenues.

She was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. It's unknown if the two shootings are related.

That's crazy... I am considering moving to BK next year sometime.. hearing this doesn't deter me but I will make sure I take a self defense class first.

Let me save you some money.

I'm thinking you're probably not going to be able to find a self-defense course that will teach you how to defend yourself from gunshots to the chest but if there was such a thing I think the following would be part of the first lesson.

Lesson #1: Don't associate with scumbags.
