ACW, overall traffic and topic starting is about the same or greater on the neighborhood boards. I don't see as much in "Random Stuff", probably because people do their random stuff on Facebook now. Or at least I do.

Brooklynian may have been actually raptured.

...meaning that we were all left behind as typing zombies.

    We must rebuild.

What kind of hardware did you get? Thinking about a rebuild sometime soon, but waiting to see what Bulldozer brings.

I was desperate at the time, didn't do any research just slap something to gether lol. i need a system to play games right away since there was tons of games coming out about the time.

I always go with nvida but not this time lol. I usually when building a friends pc have them test out ati cards :p.

i got a amd one instead. i went for budget system.

amd A2 x4 640 and amd 6450 hd and some asus mb and some creative sound card lol.

I would of gotten something else

I normally use this site to see what i should get and get slightly better components if i could fit it into my budget :p.

Even so, it's amazing what a few bucks will buy you in hardware these days. I'm sure that that's still pretty playable unless you've got a monster monitor.

What games? I think that I'll pick up Bioshock II sometime soon. Just got around to playing STALKER: SoC. I liked the gameplay, but the ending(s) blew - if I'm going to play 40 hours or more, don't just give me a 30 second clip at the end. Might do Dragon Age II when a GoTY version comes out.

but new games i got are

"drakensang river of time expansion", its the d&d of germany. in the past they release their american games as arcania, like star trail and few others.

    also go witcher 2

i spend mostly playing old school games first :p.

i reuse my old monitor and keyboard and mouse and speakers and sound card :p.

I'm currently playing Bioshock2. It's a lot like the original Bioshock - I'm undecided on whether or not it's a good thing. A large part of the fun of Bioshock was unwrapping the mythos of Rapture - something lacking here, of course. So far, it feels more like an expansion pack than a sequel.

Witcher 2, huh? Are there nice sniper rifles? I like sniper rifles.
