unwanted furniture

We have a large desk that we'd love to donate to goodwill, but the movers BARELY got it into our apartment, and had to take the door off the hinges to do so. I seriously doubt good will or the Salvation Army are willing to do that - anyone know of any good movers who will dispose of unwanted furniture?

can you take it apart (destroy it) and then transport it to the garbage in manageable pieces?

Could be fun with the Sawsall.

oh whyfi lol, hmmm before you do that , do the mineral oil or cooking oil cooling for the machine , i always wanted to do it just never had to balls plus, my mom will kill me if i spill that stuff in her house .

Heh - actually, I have some sketches that I've been working on. I just want to build the rig in to the desk. Air cooled, should be quiet and mostly invisible. Why? I dunno - why not?
