Sadly, the owner of Freddy's bar at 6th Ave. & Dean St. was just evicted, thanks to Ratner. He lived above the bar, but luckily the bar has not been served any such notice, as far as I know.

Freddys has 7 more years left on their lease, Mr. Yost's lease ran out, and he was not offered a new one. How did you find out? I heard Ratner was aggressively trying to buy the building lately.

So not only is his living situation being taken away, but his business is threatened as well. That's appalling. Love how the local paper has Bloomberg crowing about what a great guy Ratner is, and how everyone should just take him at his word. Charming! :evil:
