where can i guy buy nice plants pots?

I accidentally knock over one of my moms nice plant pots. i didnt see it and it flew down to the ground. and broke. it was like porcelain and and frog figurines around it the top of the pot with nice designs on the body.

cruise the stoop sales this weekend.. if not, head to chinatown.

watch out for drainage with IKEA pots; they often don't have holes at the bottom. (i have an aloe in one, with lots of rocks in the bottom, put in before the soil. it doesn't need to be watered often, so it's been fine, but it is easy to drown a plant without drain holes.)

Park Florists @ 158 7th Avenue By 1st street) in the Slope) has nice pots. ZuZu's on 5th Avenue around 6th street has them too.I'd check out Park Florists.

I broke one of those in a thrift store once!
Great frogs, very fragile. And a porcelain Asian import, not likely to be found at Ikea, BBG or a conventional florist.
I'd check Chinatown stores or groovy second hand places, like that guy on Fifth Ave in the slope almost across from the school - somewhere around 5th St. Do you have to replace it before she finds out?
Cause you could also just ask her.

Cause you could also just ask her.lol i was trying to replace it before she found out. yesterday i went to many places you guys suggested not china town though. she was like where is my plant and pot lol. and i'm like umm the pot died and plant is in new pot.
she was like its such a nice pot. blah the one i got her isnt as nice. my luck wasnt good yesterday. besides that i messup on other things.

but if you're ever in the suburbs of Washington DC, I can tell you where I broke that one -- it was on consignment and a guy imported them . . .

too late to be of any help here, but the little antiques/garden store on vanderbilt across from the met has a good selection.

hehe lets hope i dont need to find another one . blasted my skills walking around anything thats not plastic and unbreakble.
