Just heard 3 gunshots - NE of Sterling btwn Classon and Franklin

Working by my open window, just heard one gunshot, followed by two more NE of here, somewhere in the distance. Followed a few minutes later by sirens. What's going on?

Did you call 911?

There is talk that the Impact Zone might be moved from Franklin Avenue, one of the ways 1 Police Plaza determines where to put impact is based on 911 calls, if it does not look like there is a need for increased police presence in the community, we will lose it.

Helicopters and more sirens now. I didn't call 911 because I heard sirens in that area directly after. I have no idea the location of the shots, just that they are somewhere NE direction of me. They sounded pretty far away, but I'm not the best judge of gunshots to begin with.

you should of went outside and look around..if choppers came out then it must have been serious..

but i don't see any sign of it on gotamist/map
