Great Cupcakes and Cheesecakes

I noticed that there's a new Desserts Shop on Bergen and Washington...D's Just Desserts...OMG the Cupcakes are amazing rivaling the Famous Manhattan Cupcakes...make sure to check their website to see what the weekly menu is, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed with the cupcakes or the cheesecakes

nah, sounds like a neighbor just happened to wander in and probably asked if they had a web site with a weekly cupcake menu -- i know i would -- and very kindly wanted to let everyone know because, well, OMG, they're amazing.

I'm confused...I looked this place up on Yelp! and it seems like it's been around for a while. Did it close and reopen?

The famous Manhattan cupcakes? Oh, please, so much the let's-follow-any-trend-and-think-it's-so-cool mentality.

Try "Lily & Fig" on Franklin Avenue between Park and Sterling. The chocolate cupcake with icing that's darn close to being chocolate mousse is to die for, really. All moist, light, and yummy. And then other goodies to try ... Plus, the owner Lily is sooo nice. Can't beat the combination.

I don't even care if the "lily & Fig" is a shill. It sounds pretty frigging good if not interesting.

OMG this is around the corner from me! How the hell did I miss this? Key Lime pie and canollis mmmmm must try tomorrow.

Having just come back from Lily & Fig I will say that the butter cream icing alone is worth the price of admission. Although the chocolate cake seems to be more moist than the vanilla, both are pretty gosh darn good. And the owner makes a mean lime & ginger spritzer.

I'll vouch for Lily and Fig being amazing (and I'm not the only one if you check her out on Yelp) but I'll check this new place out as well.

Lily and Fig is really good. They're my go-to for a stress-relieving cupcake on my way home from work.

I tried to go to D's Just Desserts a few weeks ago and it was closed. I'll try again, I guess.
