Ms. Scott's street SOUL FOOD

She sets up on the corner of Lafayette and Clinton and sometimes on Waverly and Greene on Saturdays...she has the most amazing food: greens, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, smothered pork chops, turkey legs, chicken, oxtails, and more.

Sometimes she's there. Sometimes she's not. I wish she was maybe a little more tech savvy and could just post online where she will be and when because I have been seriously jonesing for some of her greens and smothered pork chops.

I think it's funny that everyone waits in line at the Flea and spends $10 on a humanely raised pig hot dog when you can get a HUGE plate of food for $7 from Ms. Scott and she's like two blocks away.

Anyone know anything about her?

On Sunday (7/17) there's a church festival on Vanderbilt. I'm not 100% sure but she may set up shop for it. I know I'll check it out and hope she's feeding the masses.
