Hey. Does anyone know of someplace around here where someone can show up and get some vaccinations? My doctor is booked up and I need some shots for a trip this week.

Thanks

There's a walkin clinic in Brooklyn Heights, just off atlantic. I can't find the link right now, but it has been mentioned on brooklynian many times, if you want to do a search. They might be able to help you.

One clinic that was on Atlantic has moved, fyi, a couple of years ago.

Also, it seems like your doctor's office should be able to point you to a place where you can get vaccines. If not, it might be time to change doctors.

Also, there's a "find a clinic" button on this page for getting travel shots.

Some of the vaccines may not be always in stock so it's best to probably call first or go to place from the link so you can get everything in one spot.

Certain travel vaccines need to be taken weeks before possible exposure so, um, get it done fast.

Edit to fix overuse of one word.

There is a walk in vaccination place downtown

Also you can call Methodist or LICH to see if they offer that at their hospital as a walk in.

Good luck and have fun on your trip

Thanks for the input. That "find a clinic" link is especially helpful. Hopefully if I call around in the morning I'll be able to find someone who's got the goods I need.

    Cheers.
