Ambulance Fire Van on St. Marks off Vanderbilt

Anyone know what's going on? It's been parked there for at least an hour and half with the lights flashing. No siren and nothing appears to be happening.

They could be awaiting a funeral home, or the corner.

EMS does not wait for OCME or funeral homes. Remains are safeguarded by police.

ok, rule my theory out.

They usually park on the northbound side of Grand Army Plaza around 5 AM, for a nap apparently. Resurfacing of the Plaza probably forcing them to find a new spot.
