fios is coming to the south slope

someone from verizon came by my building on president st near citibank today and was checking-out a pole on our property as a possible hub for service in the area. they said we'd be getting some sort of contract in the mail for access to our property. i didn't talk to them so i can not supply any details, such as dates. but since i know many of you are desperately yearning for fios service to replace time warner...well, there you go.

    President St is NORTH Slope.

    Flatbush > 1st St = NORTH

    1st St > 9th St = CENTER

    9th St > Prospect Expy = SOUTH

    I'm never gonna use another verizon product :p. this year happy to get away from them.

    hell there been fios available in my area for like over a year i think.
