Changes at Aladdin Bakery?

From the CCGH listserv, anyone have any clues?

We live near enough to this commercial bakery to be intoxicated by the smells of fresh baked goods nearly every morning and night. Recently noticed the exterior is going through a major overhaul, and it *looks* like they might be opening an adjacent retail space. Does anybody know anything about this?

You mean Aladdin Bakery? Yes, it looks like they have spruced up the 26th St. buildings, opening the windows to the bakery area. Not sure about retail, but that would be awesome.

The owner confirmed that the retail outlet should be open by mid September.
