verizon DSL

is anyone else's verizon DSL service down? possibly strike related, i have no internet. (that's my hope, i don't want to have to wait for them to come)

actually just spoke with verizon, and there is an outage here. they say they're trying to fix it. (of course, if you're on verizon you have no internet and you can't add to this. am piggy backing on neighbor's time warner)

I have Verizon and my internet is working, but as ya know, I'm more north of you.

and west. better be back soon. i *hate* talking to the verizon tech people because there's an assumption that i don't know how to do my own troubleshooting, they're reading from a script. hoping it comes back soon!

from what i read on the net, their workers are tampering with some of the lines.

its cutting off your nose to spite the face!

still out. they tell me that all verizon internet people with the numbers that begin with 718-499 have no net. i think they are lying.
