Opening Reception of "Scapes" Saturday August 27th, 6:00-9:00pm. The show will be up until September 6th

Brooklyn Artists Gym is proud to present Scapes, a new multi-media exhibition exploring innovative interpretations of the classic landscape genre.

From the wheat fields of Van Gogh to the dream-like plains of Dali, one of the most enduring genres in art is the "scape." Land-, city-, sea-, and dream-scapes; be it urban or rural, real or imagined.

Please join BAG for the opening reception of Scapes on Saturday, August 27th. From 6pm -- 9pm all are welcome to enjoy wine, snacks, and art! Participating artists will be present.

About Brooklyn Artists Gym: BAG is an artists' studio and gallery facility in the Park Slope/Gowanus area of Brooklyn, NY. BAG's mission is to help make it possible for artists to further their work and careers at a reasonable cost. Started five years ago, BAG also offers classes, critiques, figure drawing, library, kitchenette and all studio facilities.
