Unemployed in Brooklyn - The Brooklyn Ink

This is Keldy Ortiz, and I am a reporter with The Brooklyn Ink. I am doing a story on people (under the age of 45) who have been recently let go from their job, and would like to speak with any people who have been recently unemployed. In August 2011, Brooklyn's unemployment rate was 9.6 percent, slightly lower than the 10.3 percent seen a year before. But with a labor force in the borough of about 1.1 million people, more than 109,000 are still without work.
