    Whynot, I'm sure you were kidding, but just because this kind of thing annoys me...

    Early snow is actually a sign of global warming. It occurs because there is more moisture in the atmosphere due to melting ice caps and warmer seas. Same goes for heavier and more frequent snows during the winter.

    It's not called global warming anymore, it's global climate change. More extreme weather events, etc. Sorry, those term switches are as grating to me as mixing up "your' and "youre" :)

    Also, I'm totally shocked at how much there is. There's actual accumulation in the park.

    Be careful out there. I took my dog out to let him eat and roll in the snow a little while ago and there were branches breaking all over the park. I think that because the trees still have leaves, the snow has more to rest on and it's just too much weight for a lot of the trees.
