Hi guys,

I'm looking into renting at the Plex on Sullivan Place and Nostrand. What's the word on the area/does anyone happen to live there or know someone who lives there? Trying to get some information before I make a decision.

    Easy Access to the subway line. It is a relative safe area. The precinct is on New York Avenue right around the corner.

    I live a few blocks away and I would highly recommend the area.

    Thanks for the replies.

    I just want to know if it's a safe area. Right now I'm off Franklin, so it's a bit dodgy. I walked around Nostrand and Sullivan, and it doesn't seem that bad, but you never know.

    I put a deposit down, but I'm having second thoughts:

    1) It is a few blocks from the subway (my last place was a little closer)

    2) It is still under construction and will be for a while so I may be dealing with that noise and lack of privacy from crews coming and going all the time

    3) The agent that showed me around didn't know what the deal was on a few important points of the lease and didn't explain various fees, etc that I found out about at the signing

    4) I'm already having problems with the management company when they say they'll take care of something and call me back and I never hear from them
