desperately need one next week-ish for a holiday craft project and can't find one anywhere other than buying.

will barter lovely porcelain ceramics!

    I don't have one, but have some vague suggestions. You might know better than I about this, but isn't there some sort of sewing cooperative (maybe through the Brooklyn Artists Gym?). I feel like I read about this on Brokelyn at some point and the article was talking about how it was a solution people who sew but can't afford a machine for themselves.

    Also, maybe that fabric/craft store on 5th Ave near 4th or so might be of some help.
