Anyone know of a decent DRY CLEANER in the hood?

I went this morning to Happy Cleaners on Washington and St. Johns to drop off and pick up a new dress that I'd had cleaned.

My new dress (worn once at wedding and only dry cleaned because somebody had spilled some lemonade on it) was pretty much ruined. Half the detail along the bottom of the dress had been ripped off. This is the 4th garment they've destroyed, AND I STILL HAD TO PAY for the cleaning! HA.

So I turn to you, my knowledgable community:

A good, reliable, non-destructive local dry cleaner...anyone?

I hate to say it, but I think most of the cleaners in the hood send the stuff out to the same place...anyone know for sure?

Try Claudine's on Vanderbilt and Park. My SO swears by her and has been taking his stuff to her for years, even when he lived in other parts of BK.

Its a little out of the way but I swear by Bridge Cleaners on Bridge Street. They really do a wonderful job on dry cleaning as well as alterations.

Caree Cleaners, on the corner of Park and Vanderbilt. They've gotten out some severely unsavory stains on my clothes.

I second the vote for Claudine. We love her. She's always conscientous and takes good care of our stuff.

I have had mixed results with Caree. I have gone to them over the past 4 years b/c they are convenient, but they have done a crappy job and/or ruined something more than once.
