Pick-Up Soccer Games

I know that there are a few places in town where folks get together to play some informal, small-sided games of soccer.

I've seen games going on in Ft. Greene Park, McLaughlin Park, Prospect Park and I think there are some that even take place on the grounds of the Brooklyn War Memorial.

Does anyone know of how frequently the games are played or at what time folks generally get together?

I'm looking to get in a wee bit of training prior to an indoor tournament.

There were a couple of big groups that met at Washington Park next to the Old Stone House. I'm not sure what the status of the field/park currently is (there were a lot of reconstruction efforts going on), but the groups usually met on Saturday and Sundays at 9am(?).

There were also groups that met in Long Meadow in Prospect Park at 9:30am on Saturday/Sundays.

And there always seems to be a game going on in Fort Greene.
