laundry drop off at the 39th street clean and brite or others

I'm always hesitant to drop my laundry off due to the fear of ending up with missing or messed up clothing. Does anyone have any experience dropping laundry off at the Clean and Brite laundry on 39th street between 4th and 5th ave in Sunset Park?

Also any other suggestions in terms of quality/ cost would be appreciated.

Your post made me want to register. I actually never liked the idea of dropping my stuff off there either, but it actually wasn't bad at all. They were quick, really nice and actually finished within hours but didn't call because it was so late at night. I had a bag that was around 25 pounds and it cost about 20 bucks and change.

We have been dropping our stuff off at the little place on 7th and 40th for several months now and they are awesome. They separate my wife's, mine and my boy's clothes and fold them so neatly and do it so quickly it is almost uncanny. They are a little cheaper than the place down there on 39th and I think they do a better job. The last load we did was $16 for a 30lb. bag. I tip a couple of bucks.
