Lucky Louie's?

Does anyone know what became of Lucky Louie's, the cafe on 6th Ave & 7th St that put up a sign, painted a mural on the side of the building, but never opened? It's been dormant for months.

His luck ran out.

I passed it this am and noticed a sign that said they were closed due to a death in the family

How can you be closed if you never opened?

Oh, no. So sad. They obviously put a lot of work into the opening and it was not meant to be.
