I am interesting in taking a Graphic Design Associate Certificate course at a local college/ or university. I’ve been doing some preliminary research and I found a interesting program at Medgar Evers College http://www.mec.cuny.edu/ace/courses_cert.asp?crs_certificate=Graphic+Desig

I was just curious has anyone taking a continuing education class at Medgar Evers? Has anyone received a Graphic Design certificate, even at other schools?

Any info/ advice that you have would be great.

A lot of my neighbors take classes there. People tend to forget that MEC is there. It's a great school. You should check it out.

I took a class there this summer and had a really hard time--the professor and department was disorganized and unprofessional. I had a hard time getting answers out of people in adminstration, and no one seemed to know what the heck was going on. I've gone to CUNY schools before so I'm used to that, but damn...it was really bad. I still haven't gotten my grade a month later and the prof is MIA.

Erikka is confusing the academic side with continuing education. they are totally different. continuing ed is responsive and professional
