Very cool old school moment

I was in Von King Park yesterday and happened upon Kurtis Blow perfoming in a City Parks concert. There is a little amphatheatre on the Tompkins Avenue side of the park and it was full of forty-somethings and small children all grooving to Kurtis and his early 80's hits. The coolest thing was that everyone was just having a good time, no drama.

That must have been awesome. But that is what that music was all about just hanging and having a good time.
