Any birders out there?

Did anyone hear that extremely loud bird with a distinctive, long song starting around 5 am this morning near Park and Vanderbilt? Could you identify it?

It was a mocking bird.

How do I know? Because it's always a mocking bird that early, that loud, and with a "long song."

If the bird has a whistle/song structured as two dashes and a few dots afterwards, it's a cardinal.
