Hello all I am looking for recommendations for an experienced and affordable acupuncturist in the neighborhood (Crown Heights or Prospect Heights). I just checked out the acupuncturist at Shambhala and she is too pricey for me right now as I think I need weekly treatments. I know affordable is relative but give me your best recommendations as well as the price point of services. Thanks

I'd recommend Tatum Accupuncture on Flatbush Avenue. I went to her a while ago for a couple of different issues and received great treatment and good results. I don't remember the price being too bad, but my insurance covered a portion of the costs.

You should definitely talk to her, I know that sometimes she can work with patients if there is a serious need and the costs are too prohibitive.

Thanks. I am also open to community acupuncture as well.

I highly recommend Brooklyn Open Acupuncture. Liz & Rebecca are great! the sliding scale is $15-45 and they also offer herbal consultations. They are over on Atlantic Ave at present but plan to move over to Ft. Greene.

I go every other week or so. I used to go to City Acupuncture but I much prefer Brooklyn Open.

Great made an appointment at BK Open. I used to go to City Acupuncture too. I liked the practitioners but with the increased prices its becomes pretty pricey to have multiple treatments a week and or herbs. Thanks for a wonderful suggestion Burningorange.
