This series of tastings promotes Kimcheelicious, a (pending) Kickstarter cookbook project by Tony Limuaco. This project focuses on making vegan kimchi and exploring the many meals you can make with it.

ON THE MENU:

- Bulgogi mandu (potstickers)

- Black bean and red miso mandu

- Sweet potato and white kimchi fritters

- Pink coleslaw made with ruby cabbage and non-spicy white kimchi.

- Three types of vegan kimchi (napa, cucumber, white radish)

KIMCHI MAKING DEMONSTRATION @ 7:00 PM

Learn how to make vegan Napa cabbage kimchi (baechu) and Korean chili paste (gochuchang). The demonstration batch will be raffled.

    In case you were wondering what 100 kimchi/bulgogi dumpligs look like... these bad boys will be steam finished at Freddy's Bar (from 6 to 8PM). I highly recommend ordering some Tater Tots and topping it with kimchi.

    These deep fried sweet potato and white kimchi fritters are terrible... terribly good. I guess I should stop eating them and leave some for this evening.

    These black bean and red miso dumplings were lightly poached... in hot oil. If I told you these vegan things were gross, I'd be a liar.
