Warning: Person Tazed from behind on 16th and 8th Ave.

My friend was just tazed tonight around 1:30am on 16th just east of 8th Ave from behind in his back while walking from the Subway.

Three males hispanics and one female all wearing baseball hats.

He ran and was able to get away.

Be careful out there.

That's crazy. Glad your friend got away, I hope he reported this to the police? If not, please urge him to!

You mean they used one of those stun gun things? They are illegal but unfortunately you can buy them in certain stores. Did they try to rob him or were they just making mischief? Any more description of the people? Were they teenagers? I agree, he should make a police report. Another thing to worry about while walking around Brooklyn...

They were teenagers he believes. It was dark but he said they seemed younger.

After they tased him and he ran he could hear them snickering so yes only led to so called mischief. Luckily.

He should still file a report, it's not about catching them per se, it's about adding it to the crime stats, alerting the police/community to keep an eye out, get the word out to locals to watch out, and who knows this might not be the first time this has happened, but if no one reports it, no one would know it and address it.
