Hi folks

Doing some "spring cleaning". I have two kitty litter boxes. One large for multiple cats and one small.

I am on Eastern near Bedford.

Thx

    Are you serious?

Yes-I am serious. It would save someone 25-30 bucks or so if they just adopted/rescued a cat. Better money spent on cat food.

    For all you "serious" folks.

Here is link for one of them.

Do you think it would work for my dogs?

If you don't have a garden (BrownStoneOwner) or take them outside (ever) for walks, perhaps...

I take them on walks, but I'm often gone for days at a time. Also, kennel prices in this neighborhood are outrageous.

Well, I am not working right now and would be more than happy to take them for walks if you are nearby. Good karma, I hope.

That's very generous of you! I may take you up on the offer!!! However, it doesn't really answer my question. I have a Dogo and a Poodle. Do you think the litter box would be an ok temporary fix for the times I am away? Can you let me know the size of your boxes?

They are for cats so they would not be that large. I can't imagine a dog being able to use it, not matter how small.

BrownStoneOwner, I hope that you are being serious. Kate is doing a nice and generous thing by offering some freebies that hopefully some one fostering many cats, doing TNR, or whatever might appreciate. I hope that you are not continuing this odd conversation just to waste her time. That wouldn't be very nice. That said, these look too small for a dog and a dog would have to be litter box trained to use them.

Mamacita, thanks for looking out. I don't think this convo is odd. I'm interested in the boxes and Ms. HurricanKate is being very generous (with her time and possessions!) . May I ask what happened to the cats that used the litter box?

    Thanks

HurricaneKate, are the litter boxes still available? Can you let me know about what happened with the cats? Just want to make sure my dogs don't contract anything.

Hello, I would be interested in your cats. What breed? Is there a re homing fee?

Brownstone Owner - They are still available but as mentioned before are for cats, not dogs.

Secondly, to satisfy your undying curiosity. Both cats passed away, on separate occasions, a long time ago. They died of natural causes, old age.

For those of you who are interested in these boxes. They have been fully cleaned and disinfected.

Iluvsalads - not sure where in my ad I mentioned cats for free....but thanks for your interest.

If you want to adopt there are many sites you can check here on Brooklynian. I recently found a very young cat after a thunderstorm and she is almost best pals with my other two felines.

    Hi HurricaneKate,

I'm sorry for your loss and thanks for the info. You have been very helpful in my decision regarding the boxes. I will discuss this purchase with my wife and will let you know whether we are interested or not. Please let me before you sell the boxes.

    Hi all

The large box has been taken by a lovely woman who has two cats. Ideal for her.
