Police copter, over somewhere near 5th/Union, hovering with it's spotlight fixed below, and police lights flashing, Nothing on Gothamist maps yet... interesting...

    from my friends Facebook who lives in the building on 5th between Union and President.

    A burglar. Trying to get into our next door neighbors rooftop fire escape-they caught him, thank god, as I realized ours isn't completely locked.....

    That's an issue with living in brownstones. They are all attached. Its easy to go from one roof to the other. That's why I tell all my tenants to get renters insurance. Its about $100 per year...AND MAKE SURE TO LOCK YOUR WINDOWS LEADING TO THE FIRE ESCAPE BEFORE LEAVING THE HOUSE.
