feluccio's

I had dinner last night at Feluccio's on 7th Ave and Prospect Ave and enjoyed it very much.

The resturant is very low key, exposed brick walls and a simple bar.

They served a complimentary bruchetta. My friend and I split a few things: fried calmari, spaghetti carbonara. both were good sized portions and were not skimpy even being shared.

My main was pork cutlet marsala, which was served with fresh string beans and excellent mashed potatoes.

For dessert, I had a taste of a nutella pizza, which I feel could be addictive if I allowed myself to endulge.

The service was attentive, our server, knowing that we were sharing the dishes, brought out extra plates and fresh flatware without us asking.

Overall, an excellent first impression. I was surprized that it was not busier. No one rushed us out, we were able to linger over cappucino. The prices were very reasonable for the food quality. They have happy hour prices on wine and beer.

I do not have any relationship with this resturant or the owner, but wanted to share a new find that tasted like home cooked italian food.
